Gourmet FairyTale Brownies Giveaway & review! 11/5 ***CLOSED!!!***

***CLOSED!!!***

FairyTale Brownies come in three different sizes: Brownie, which is the largest. Sprite- which is medium sized, and Magic Morsel which is bite-sized. The winner is so lucky, because they will receive the largest brownies. The brownies come shipped on ice, and are so soft they require refrigeration. The taste great warm too!

This gift contains:

  • 1 Caramel Brownie

  • 1 Chocolate Chip Brownie

  • 1 Mint Chocolate Brownie

  • 1 Original Brownie

  • 1 Peanut Butter Brownie

  • 1 Pecan Brownie

    • 1 Raspberry Swirl Brownie
    • 1 Toffee Crunch Brownie
    • 1 Walnut Brownie
    • 1 White Chocolate Brownie
    • 1 Espresso Nib Brownie
    • 1 Cream Cheese Brownie

Here's what we thought:
Original Brownie:
We liked it, but we love a brownie full of candy and other sweet stuff too! The original was soft and scrumptious, but in the end, not our favorite- but not bad either!

Peanut Butter Brownie:
Loved this brownie. Peanut Butter tastes good in just about anything, and this peanut butter brownie sets the bar high for other peanut butter brownies. yum!

 Pecan Brownie:
Nut brownies to me, rank some of the best brownies you will ever eat,. I loved this brownie it was super moist and I love the crunchy little pecans as it was just the right balance.

Cream Cheese Brownie:
This ranked #3 on my top three favorites of the Fairy Tale Fall Dozen!

Espresso Nib Brownie:
I am sad to say this brownie ranked the very bottom of my must have Fairytale brownies list. I love coffee, but this brownie; in my opinion, was slightly odd.

White Chocolate Brownie:
My number two favorite brownie. I am a sucker for white chocolate.

Walnut Brownie:
Yum, Yum, Yum! See above about nut brownies. You just can't go wrong here.

Toffee Crunch Brownie:
My number one favorite brownie. If I were to order a box of brownies in solely one flavor from them, I would order this one! (And recommend you do too!) This brownie had thick bars of toffee laid across the top. It was so good, and I could have eaten a bunch of them.

 Raspberry Swirl Brownie:
I have never even dreamed this was possible I thought the chocolate and raspberry paired very nicely. Surprisingly good and different.

Caramel Brownie:
Gigi ate this brownie and loved it. It was the prettiest brownie in the box, with caramel drizzled all over it. She ate in record time, and was sad there wasn't another!

Chocolate Chip Brownie:
Noah ate this brownie. he is super picky and usually only likes his brownies plain. I talked him into eating it, and guess what? He liked it!

Mint Chocolate Brownie:
Another brownie that I didn't much care for.. but it was good in it's own right, just not what I was expecting. But that doesn't mean you wouldn't enjoy it immensely!

Monte Carlo review -- Thanks Fox! (*sarcasm*)

http://1caseycolette.blogspot.com/2011/09/monte-carlo-review-soon-top-5-sister.html

Gigi and I got to watch Monte Carlo the other day and I gotta say- we loved it! I was a little disappointed however. For some reason I had it in my head that we would be receiving an actual copy with a case to keep forever and I got a burned disc in a paper envelope. Gigi didn't seem to mind, but it bothered me a little bit. I mean, this is a Fox review, and you'd think FOX could come off of an actual DVD in exchange for posting... BUT I guess not. it's strange though.. because Lionsgate does.

Even worse, they sent it to me on the day of the release, so it wasn't like we even really got a heads up. I could've just as easily went to Blockbuster and rented it and not been obligated to post about it!

Wow Fox. Thanks so much. Hopefully the other DVD's I have already agreed to review for them are not like this, but I have a strange feeling they will be. I guess I am grateful.. well.. kind-of!

But like I said, FOX Studios should have enough money to where coming off of 100 discs in actual cases for bloggers does not break the bank. This is advertising being taken for granted and ripped off at it's best.

Buuuuttt.. I guess they don't care! I will remember this when Fox sends me more oppurtunities for movies to review. I don't have time for this stuff. Its so time consuming, and it's not that I don't love it! I would just like to be compensated for my time.

The product is my payment. Dare I say my time is valuable more so worthy than a burned disc of a movie I could've went and rented for 3$.. actually for free, since I subscribe to Blockbuster Online.

Penny Pinching at it's best!
LOL!

In any case- please see the links included in this post (of mine and this blog) related to Monte Carlo.

           Our opinion?

Well I don't post my opinion for less than 10$!  No I'm just kidding.

Monte Carlo review soon, Top 5 Sister films!

Once again, another reminder about my upcoming review of Monte Carlo! My little girl Giana is obsessed with Selena Gomez and she is going to be SOO excited when we get it! In honor of the films upcoming DVD release I have another list to share with you!

Top 5 Sibling Rivalry Films
Debuting on Blu-ray & DVD on Oct. 18
In the Selena Gomez flick, Monte Carlo, Grace and Meg are forced to travel across the world together to bond as stepsisters. The two are not happy with the arrangement, but go along with the deal for their parents. Here we explore the best movies about sibling rivalry and family clashes.
Selena Gomez stars in Monte Carlo as Grace, a recent college graduate who is ready to live out her idea of a perfect vacation with BFF Emma (Katie Cassidy) to Paris. After several twists and turns, including her unhappy stepsister Meg (Leighton Meester) joining them on the trip, Grace falls into a fairytale of her very own in the French Riviera.

1)    America’s Sweethearts
America’s Sweethearts tells the story of one sibling’s position in the limelight and the other’s position in her shadow. When ‘American’s Sweethearts’ Gwen Harrison (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) separate after Gwen is discovered to be having an affair, Eddie has a nervous breakdown. Gwen’s sister and assistant Kiki is used to being insignificant but Eddie is drawn to her. The story comes to a head when Gwen declares that they are back together to look good in front of the press, but Eddie does not go along with her story and his true feelings are revealed.

2) My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Toula (Nia Vardalos) is 30 and the only woman in her family who has not settled down with a Greek husband and made a family. Instead, she is stuck working in the family restaurant and feels inadequate compared to her seemingly perfect sister, Athena. Her mother Maria encourages her to take computer classes at college, enabling her to work in a travel agency. It is there that she meets Ian (John Corbett), a handsome English teacher. After dating for a while they decide to get married, to the dismay of Toula’s family. They eventually accept him, but not before he endures Toula’s family’s ‘help’ in more ways than one.
3) 16 Candles
Sam Baker‘s (Molly Ringwald) 16th birthday is completely forgotten by her family as her older sister Ginny is getting married the next day. Things are not helped by her huge crush on the older and more popular Jake Ryan. As if things couldn’t get any worse, without her knowing, a note meant for a friend expressing her love for him has found its way into Jake’s hands. All is not lost in the end, as her family apologizes for forgetting her birthday over her sister’s wedding, and Sam and Jake share a special moment...over 16 candles.

4)                The Parent Trap (1998)
Annie and Hallie (both played by Lindsay Lohan) are twins separated at birth...until their parents unknowingly enroll them both at the same summer camp. After seeing each other’s faces at the same time after a fencing match, a rivalry erupts between them, leading to pranks that eventually get out of hand and cause them both to be isolated from the rest of the camp. It is during this time that they realize they are twins and agree to teach the other how to be like her in order to switch places. They create a plan to split their father from his gold-digger fiancé and reunite their parents.

5)                Monte Carlo

While on vacation with her BFF and stepsister, Grace (Selena Gomez) is mis-identified as British heiress Cordelia Winthrop Scott who is in Monte Carlo for several important appearances. These events are leading up to a huge auction raising money for charity that the spoiled Cordelia must be at, even if Grace must pose as her for the show to go on.

Oh what a tangled web we weave!

Top 5 Films Where the Characters Get in Over Their Heads

Debuting on Blu-ray & DVD on Oct. 18
At first, Grace doesn’t think she's hurting anyone by taking over the identity of Cordelia Winthrop Scott. Her and her accomplices, Emma and Meg, take full advantage of the perks until the fantasy starts to crumble and the situation gets out of control. To celebrate the debut of Monte Carlo for home entertainment on Oct. 18, we are taking a look at the top films where a small fib turns into a complicated web of lies and the characters get in over their heads!

1)    She’s the Man
Viola Hastings (Amanda Bynes) is a high school soccer player at Cornwall, where the girl’s team has just been cut. After being refused to join the boy’s team, Viola decides to ask ‘Sebastian’ to join a rival school’s soccer team.  The lie eventually gets out of hand when ‘Sebastian’s’ lab partner, Olivia, develops a crush on him and concocts a plan that she thinks will get Sebastian (Viola) jealous, and tangle of crushes and confusion occurs.
2)    While You Were Sleeping
Lucy (Sandra Bullock) is a lonely token collector on the Chicago Transit Authority that has begun to fall in love with a commuter named Peter. After seeing him get pushed onto the tracks by a group of muggers, she rescues him from an oncoming train. He falls into a coma and while in the hospital Lucy says “I was going to marry him” to herself. His family overhears, and mistakes her for his fiancé. She feebly attempts to explain, but quickly becomes accepted into his family and as time goes on, telling the truth becomes more difficult. She also begins to fall in love with his brother Jack (Bill Pullman), which complicates the situation even further.
3)    Mrs. Doubtfire
After a divorce that leaves him only able to see his children once a week, Daniel (Robin Williams) sees that his ex-wife has put out an ad for a nanny. Using his skills as a voice-actor, along his brother’s make-up artistry, he answers the ad as ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ – a British housekeeper and nanny in her sixties.  During a parallel meeting with a TV exec – in his normal attire – and with his children, ex-wife and her new boyfriend – as Mrs. Doubtfire – he goes to the bathroom to change periodically so that he can be in two places at once. His double life catches up with him, but in a better way than you’d expect...
4)    Big Momma’s House
After criminal Lester Vesco escapes from jail after being imprisoned for life for murder and robbery, FBI agents John Maxwell and Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence) are sent to stake out the house of Hatti Mae Pierce AKA Big Momma. After Big Momma’s unexpected departure, there is a call from Sherry – Big Momma’s granddaughter and Lester’s ex-girlfriend. Malcolm decides to disguise his voice in an attempt to entrap Sherry into divulging important information. It works, so John and Malcolm work to create a costume for Malcolm to wear the next day. Malcolm is forced to live the life of an overweight southern woman; he cooks (something he is inexperienced with), deals with Big Momma’s boyfriend, attends a self-defence class for old women, and delivers a baby.
5)    Monte Carlo
While on vacation with her BFF and stepsister, Grace (Selena Gomez) is mis-identified as British heiress Cordelia Winthrop Scott who is in Monte Carlo for several important appearances. These events are leading up to a huge auction raising money for charity that the spoiled Cordelia must attend, even if Grace must pose as her for the show to go on.

WOW!

Talk about a blog blowing up quickly. I really need to learn how to pace Locomotion of Expressions.
The growth has been fantastical. I am uber impressed with myself and oh so glad to have found something I am good at!
Usually people used to only call me when they needed small help with computers and social networks. Now there is something people can come to me for advice for! Yay!

It's funny, but I have never been to college. It's not that I don't want to go, it just keeps getting put on the back burner for the kids.

But I think I am good at two. Unless god decides to give us another. I would welcome it with open arms. It would be just as cute and smart as thew two I already have! :) I don't know how I would find time for it, but I would manage. I don't particularly want another though, right now. I want to get my education in order.

It's funny that I have scraped this blog this far. I surprised myself. Looking back there have been some really great products.. and some not so great products! I have gotten so busy I have had to turn down pitches to me. It was easier than I thought it would be, but still impressive. I started out with 4 followers in late Jan and have wrangled my way to over 1,000 in 8 months. My traffic and Alexa ratings are pretty darn decent. But I don't know when Google will update page rank. I admit, I do not understand a LOT of html, and a lot of it Google has been my best friend in deciphering and sometimes even my worst enemy. Sometimes, I can't figure it out to save my life.

A few websites have been essential in my growth and I wouldn't have made it this far without them. If you are a blogger you MUST check out Nina Say's blogger forum BFPR (Blog Friendly PR) it is a forum where PR emails are gathered with their permission. It saves them from paying a site to do it for them and really opens it up for us bloggers and gives us more selection to be picky, if you will. Everyone there is super friendly and it's not like a lot of the other sites I have been on where there are not many giveaway opportunities. In fact a lot of blogger ning and forums have so many bloggers, and so few opportunities, the smaller blogs don't stand a chance. I get reviews from Tomoson, and Mamabzz, and MomSelect and I really do love MyBlogSpark & Bloggerdise. There are others like SocialMoms and others too, but those are really more, you blog for us for free, and we MIGHT pick your post to win a  prize, which I honestly do not have time for.
I love BFPR's blogger forum. But you also have to pay to use it. I think its around 5$ a month? I can't be certain because I haven't had to pay to use it .... YET.  But when my review plate clears up.. if it does.. I will be joining. It's free to use her forum but not to view The Pitch List.
It is worth EVERY penny. This is the coolest thing since sliced bread.
That being said, I am certain that every post you are going to see from me in the next two months is all courtesy of Nina Say. Lets give her a big warm round of applause, because without her and her genius forum, we wouldn't have a chance to review these, and in turn, you wouldn't have a chance to win these.

Here is her blog: theonefantastical.com tell her I sent you if you join her forum because of this post, or visit her blog. Please let her know it's because of me. I want that- you give it to me!

Here is what I have in store for you guys soon.. (in no particular order except ones marked with an asterisk* and those will be very soon. Like next 7 days soon) soon as will be in (the mail) next week, and even as far as 2 months from now. :)
30+      & some sooner than others! That's great news for you! I am going to be so busy! :)
But it keeps me sane.
