Nutri-Vet Wild Alaskan SALMON Oil Giveaway 6/30 ***CLOSED!!!***

***CLOSED!!!***

Best Pet Health sells products for cats and dogs, the sell a brand called Nutri-Vet.
I was sent Nutri-Vet Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil for dogs to review. It is basically a food additive (oil) that makes their coat glossy & shiny and is heart-healthy because it provides omega-3!
Omega-3 fatty acids are a class of essential fatty acids that cannot be manufactured by the body and need to be derived from the diet. They play diverse roles in the human body, and deficiency of these nutrients is linked to an increased risk of several chronic conditions. Important omega-3 fatty acids include alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA; eicosapentaenoic acid, or EPA; and docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA.
Sources
The only dietary sources of EPA and DHA are coldwater oily fish, such as salmon, sardines and herring, and marine algae. Flax and its oil are rich in omega-3's, mainly ALA, but lack EPA and DHA. The body can convert ALA into EPA and DHA, but it does this very inefficiently. This is why it is very important to ensure you are taking in enough omega-3's, especially EPA and DHA, from your diet.

Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil provides levels of omega-3 and -6 fatty acids not commonly found in pet foods. It is a great multi-purpose supplement rich in EPA and DHA that help maximize skin and coat health, promote a strong immune system and support joint function. It contains only pure oil from wild, non-farmed Alaskan salmon stabilized with rosemary, a natural antioxidant that promotes freshness, purity and taste. It does NOT contain PCB contaminants, mercury or other heavy metals.

What the dogs thought?
Since I have not figured out yet how to talk to them, I do not know if it had any aftertaste or gave them gas.. but I do know my Rat Terrier, Tinkerbell- is very picky. I have seen her turn her nose up to steak fat sometimes. So being that she ate it, says something. She will not eat any dog treats, not milkbones, greenies, or other.
My other dog, a choclate lab named Suede, gobbled it up, but she eats everything!
