Build A Dream Playhouses giveaway! 10/10 ***CLOSED***

Build a Dream Playhouses sent me their Pop N Play Kitchen... and when I say sent.. I mean they sent it out right away

But- that is a picture of theirs.. further down (keep scrolling!) are pictures of ours..

The brand carries more than just play kitchens though!
Here are pictures of the other craft imagination playthings they offer:
(We almost ordered the play castle.. but I know how much they both enjoy my best friend Beth's little girl Brynna's play kitchen.. so in the end the kitchen won out!)

Price: $39.95 to $69.95

Our honest opinion: Awesome, the kids love it, I love how it folds up for storage, and if we ever decide we don't need it- it can be recycled. I like that it is affordable and personalize-able. A lot of play kitchens cost upwards of 100$ +

You should know: First, its a lot of work to color it. It's pretty darn big. But we love the challenge and doing crafts together. Devonny is fascinated with it, and the basket of fruit I got at Wal-mart for her was only 5$!

I saw this neat craft glue/paint idea I used on this project while blog hopping ands thought it was awesome and decided to do it on this. What it is is a post about using Elmers half empty glue bottles and mixing latex paints (which I happen to have a TON of laying around a whole rainbow assortmernt in fact) so I figured, why not?

But I want to give credit where credit is due- perhaps she'll link my post into her as wll, if I remember to email it to her that is!

But you can read her instructions on how to do it on her blog.. but its pretty easy-- my tip* the glue mixes better if it has been soaked in hot water on stove (in the bottle of course) and then put in freezer. See- the glue gets thinner when hot. SO if you get some really hot (almost boiling.. but not quite) water- and place the bottles of glue IN, then drop tiny marbles in the paint glue mixture it mixes better. Trust me you will shake them forever if you don't use my tip. But I do want to add.. you'll have to wait a while to use it, because the paint is too runny. I stuck mine in freezer for 45 minutes and counter for 15. That seemed to do the trick! Also, in her post her glue bottles were half empty- ours were full, so you have to pour a BUNCH out.. they need to be at least 1/3 empty- or they will be way too hard to mix.. even hot.
Here is the pictures of our project- without further ado:

ALL FINISHED! .. And needless to say- the kids love it!
