CostumeSquad.com review/giveaway 11/10

This is a review of costumesquad.com!
MY shirt!

I chose the I'm on a boat shirt and it can be found with the Girls T-Shirts. Although, the shirt I received wasn't shaped like a girls T-Shirt at all it was far too large and broad. I think they must have accidentally goofed and sent the Mens? Because there is no way this is a juniors tee. It is not snug enough and not the right shape either.
But be sure to check out the Women's Halloween costumes!

Im on a boat t shirt. The classic womens im on a boat shirt. Andy Samberg introduced the world to what being on the boat is all about and T-pain helped. The SNL short with Andy Samberg and T Pain quickly took off!
On A Boat shirt Price: $16.99

My opinion. I found so many shirt's I like here, but I won't be surprised if they wear out quickly. The shirt is actually rather transparent. However the image in the shirt is of high quality, so that's great! All three of the shirts I was sent from all three of their sites was thin to the point of being able to see sunlight through them in this manner. But all people have different opinions, and a thin Tee could be a good thing, so I will let you make your best judgement there.
As far as the image selection goes.. I found it quite hilarious. I enjoyed browsing their shirts and found many that I would have loved.  I have a very dirty mouth and I love to shock people with these funny shirts. Noah owns quite a few of them. I will say some of the prices are what you would find at a mall. You can catch some deals here, so check often and you might be able to help that Christmas supply issue you might be having right now.

I also noticed that on this site, you can't zoom into a lot of the pictures of the costumes, as some of them are but tiny thumbnails. EXAMPLE of what I am talking about, though there are many other's on the site.

Smiley Cookies Halloween review

http://www.smileycookie.com/halloween-smiley-cookies-dozen.html

Mini Cookies $13.99
Original Smiley Cookies (large) $13.99
https://www.facebook.com/smileycookiestore

SmileyCookie(.com) sent me this lovely pack of Halloween cookies I just HAD to share with you!

Now, I am not a mind reader and have never assumed to be one. But I have an idea what you might be thinking. If you are anything like me, and you have kids, and take your kids to the grocery store with you.. then there is a good chance your kids have begged for the decorative cookies at the store. Then, will not eat it! What are those things for? decoration? they are most definitely not edible. But these cookies are. I was quite surprised when I bit into one and it tasted amazing! To boot, it's also really really cute, and guaranteed to put a smile on the lucky recipients face!

Check out the Halloween Gift Basket 's.

WARNING! The only drawback I found to these cookies is you cannot sneak one. Not that i would. Laughing.* No actually, I didn't sneak them at all... I am saying if you were to try to. This container is very very noisy. I found this out because Devonny was asleep, and I was attempting to quietly open the package. it is just not possible. This could be construed as a good or a bad thing.

The best part!
Besides the cookies tasting excellent, I was most impressed with the packaging, and I took many pictures of it for you. I know that the box alone would cheer someone up in a second. How could it not? if I was sick or having a rough time for whatever reason, and someone sent these cookies to me, I just know it would brighten up my day! Another plus about the box is it can be re-purposed for many things.

I LOVE candy corn!

The kids loved the cookies, and they were gone within two days! I couldn't tell them no, mostly because Gigi is a sneaky little one. She waits until I go outside to water the garden to get in them! Smart little cookie, pardon my pun!
Also, they would like for you to offer a link to our Facebook page: (BELOW)  If you like them on Facebook you will receive a 20% off Coupon good on the Halloween Cookies

Submariners-Deep Bumper Sticker $5.00

My opinion
Well, where to start? How about with the phenomenal selection? Cafe Press has 250+ products that have billions of images and designers using them. That can be a teeny bit overwhelming. For instance my search for sock monkey pulled up so many listings, I didn't have time to browse them all!

Showing: 1 – 28 of 1,560 Sock monkey Gifts designs available on 38,800 products

I was really pleased with most of my stuff. Except the Sock Monkey Submarine decal, the print on it was  sub par.. very blurry and foggy and not "crisp". I also had the same issue with my panty.
However- my favorite item that shipped was the sock monkey framed tile. It looks so cute in my bathroom, and I have had several nice comments about "Where did I get it?" & "It is so cute!".

Halloween Costume Ideas Covering 5 Decades

The 60s

British pop music was trendy during the 1960s. Along with that, the 60s scene was dominated by Woodstock and the hippie movement. One costume idea is to follow the flower power theme. If girls are looking for an interesting costume, they can wear colorful clothes that are covered in flowers. During the late 60s, Austin Powers became a big hit. This quirky character will make another unique Halloween costume. In order to dress like him, guys will need pin-striped pants, a hippie-styled shirt and chest hair to poke out of it. They will also need a hippie-styled wig that has an auburn color.

The 70s

Punk music became popular in the 70s. As a result, punk clothing was the big fashion trend. One Halloween costume idea is for people to dress like they are a part of the anti-establishment movement. It will be easy to put this costume together because the main requirement is ripped clothing. To make it look more authentic, add a few safety pins to hold the torn clothing together. Use accessories such as studded collars and bracelets. Besides that, people should style their hair in a Mohawk. To complete the look, put on heavy makeup. For example, add a lot of black liner around the eyes.

The 80s
The 80s were a time for bright colors, big hair, shoulder pads and costume jewelry. When putting together an 80s costume, most items can be found at a thrift store. The costume should include an over-sized sweatshirt that hangs off the shoulder. Along with that, it should also include brightly colored leg warmers, jelly bracelets and a side pony tail. In the 80s came the rise of Michael Jackson. For this second unique costume idea, people will need leather pants, a leather jacket and a white t-shirt. Along with that, they will also need black dress shoes, white socks and a white glove. To make the costume more authentic, consider adding aviator sunglasses, facial powder and hair gel.

The 90s

The 90s were famous for fads and pop culture. One of the biggest icons from the decade was
Britney Spears. For this Halloween costume, people will need a red checkered mini skirt and a short white top. Hair should be worn in pigtails. If a person doesn't have blond hair, they should wear a wig to complete the costume. Other than pop music, cartoons were really popular during the 90s. Another unique costume idea is to dress up like Marge Simpson. In order to do this, people will need to purchase a tall blue wig and a green dress. They can even paint their skin yellow and wear a pearl necklace.

The 2000s

In this generation, vampires and werewolves have become a trend. Dressing as a vampire is a simple costume. The main requirement will be a set of fangs. Besides that, Harry Potter was another icon from the decade. To dress like Harry Potter, people will need a pair of thick black-rimmed glasses and a wand. To make the costume more realistic, use facial paint to make a lightning bolt on the forehead.

Gourmet FairyTale Brownies Giveaway & review! 11/5 ***CLOSED!!!***

***CLOSED!!!***

FairyTale Brownies come in three different sizes: Brownie, which is the largest. Sprite- which is medium sized, and Magic Morsel which is bite-sized. The winner is so lucky, because they will receive the largest brownies. The brownies come shipped on ice, and are so soft they require refrigeration. The taste great warm too!

This gift contains:

  • 1 Caramel Brownie

  • 1 Chocolate Chip Brownie

  • 1 Mint Chocolate Brownie

  • 1 Original Brownie

  • 1 Peanut Butter Brownie

  • 1 Pecan Brownie

    • 1 Raspberry Swirl Brownie
    • 1 Toffee Crunch Brownie
    • 1 Walnut Brownie
    • 1 White Chocolate Brownie
    • 1 Espresso Nib Brownie
    • 1 Cream Cheese Brownie

Here's what we thought:
Original Brownie:
We liked it, but we love a brownie full of candy and other sweet stuff too! The original was soft and scrumptious, but in the end, not our favorite- but not bad either!

Peanut Butter Brownie:
Loved this brownie. Peanut Butter tastes good in just about anything, and this peanut butter brownie sets the bar high for other peanut butter brownies. yum!

 Pecan Brownie:
Nut brownies to me, rank some of the best brownies you will ever eat,. I loved this brownie it was super moist and I love the crunchy little pecans as it was just the right balance.

Cream Cheese Brownie:
This ranked #3 on my top three favorites of the Fairy Tale Fall Dozen!

Espresso Nib Brownie:
I am sad to say this brownie ranked the very bottom of my must have Fairytale brownies list. I love coffee, but this brownie; in my opinion, was slightly odd.

White Chocolate Brownie:
My number two favorite brownie. I am a sucker for white chocolate.

Walnut Brownie:
Yum, Yum, Yum! See above about nut brownies. You just can't go wrong here.

Toffee Crunch Brownie:
My number one favorite brownie. If I were to order a box of brownies in solely one flavor from them, I would order this one! (And recommend you do too!) This brownie had thick bars of toffee laid across the top. It was so good, and I could have eaten a bunch of them.

 Raspberry Swirl Brownie:
I have never even dreamed this was possible I thought the chocolate and raspberry paired very nicely. Surprisingly good and different.

Caramel Brownie:
Gigi ate this brownie and loved it. It was the prettiest brownie in the box, with caramel drizzled all over it. She ate in record time, and was sad there wasn't another!

Chocolate Chip Brownie:
Noah ate this brownie. he is super picky and usually only likes his brownies plain. I talked him into eating it, and guess what? He liked it!

Mint Chocolate Brownie:
Another brownie that I didn't much care for.. but it was good in it's own right, just not what I was expecting. But that doesn't mean you wouldn't enjoy it immensely!
